Saturday marked 15 days since the Windsor Essex County Health Unit recorded a death in the region from COVID-19.
The health unit’s Saturday update listed six news cases, one of whom is an agricultural worker. There was also one additional resolved case.

To date, the area has 956 confirmed cases, 63 deaths, 496 resolved cases and 927 pending tests.
There continue to be outbreaks at two long-term care facilities in Windsor’s Heron Terrace and Kingsville’s Chartwell Royal Oak.
A total of 16,808 residents in Windsor-Essex have been tested.
The next scheduled WECHU news release is Monday barring any breaking news.
